Every day, we interact with products of human imagination and creativity. From the design of the spaces where you read this text, through the device you use to do it, to abstract forms artistic expressions found in museums or art galleries, we encounter artifacts made by others.
I study the nature of these experiences, with particular interest in how our personal characteristics shape our interactions with art and cultural heritage. Using a combination of behavioral analysis, eye tracking, and advanced statistical methods, I aim to identify conditions that enhance our engagement with cultural artifacts, both from our own and other cultures, and to determine whether such engagement positively impacts our development.
